Also as part of my mom's helping me with my making 40 recipe goal, she handed me a book with a bunch of recipes and told me I should pick some to make while visiting.
When we expanded our 4th of July BBQ invite list from just my parents and me to also include my brother, his wife, her parents and my friend I decided making some "Company Mac and Cheese" would be a great addition!

As advertised, it was pretty fast and easy.
"Why is it orange?" was the most common question
"This is delicious!" was the most common statement :)
I did use orange / yellow cheddar cheese, but realized it didn't specify, just said "cheddar" so white cheddar would have also been a good option.
Next weekend I have a potluck to go to and I am already planning to make this delight to take.
Turns out, I forgot to take any pictures along the way, or even after it was done baking - but you can tell it was enjoyed by those present by how much disappeared ;)
