What Manner of Man: Week 1 - Every Crucial Role

I love learning from children!

Asking children questions can provide such unique (funny, poignant, silly, thought-provoking…) insight.

And it is very often true that children keep things simple, which can be so powerful.

I love this example Richard M. Eyre shared in Week 1:

Sometimes little children (whom Christ told us to be like) can say simply what we try to say complexly, as when I asked my four-year-old daughter:
“Who is Jesus?”
“Our brother.”
“Why did he come to earth?”
“To show us how to love each other and to show us how it works when we die.”
“What is he doing now?”
“Taking care of all of us from way up there.” (p17)

I am grateful Jesus Christ came and showed us how to love each other, and I’m grateful that He is taking care of us ‘from way up there’.
